Loyalty & Rewards PlatformPointfinity needed customers, stores, and platform admins working off the same loyalty ledger without ever touching payments. We built a customer app, a store owner portal, and a super admin panel around one shared points engine, with QR and loyalty codes as the bridge between them.
Loyalty programs usually break down at the handoff between the customer, the store, and whoever runs the program. Customers want one place to discover participating stores, see live offers, and track the points they've actually earned — not a paper punch card. Store owners need a reliable way to issue and verify points at the counter without slowing down checkout, and to run campaigns and coupons without engineering help. And someone has to sit above every store and customer to onboard new merchants, resolve disputes, and see how the whole program is performing — without being able to touch payments, which stay entirely between the customer and the store.
Core Pain Points Addressed:
- ❌ No unified way for customers to discover participating stores and track points across all of them in one place.
- ❌ Store owners had no self-serve way to issue or verify points, or launch reward and coupon campaigns without engineering help.

One Ledger, Three Surfaces
Wise Hustlers built Pointfinity as a customer loyalty and rewards platform spanning a React Native customer app, a React.js Store Owner Portal, and a React.js Super Admin Panel, all backed by a shared Node.js loyalty engine. Customers discover participating stores, view store details and offers, and earn reward points based on purchases or visits by scanning a QR code or loyalty code at checkout.
Store owners manage their business profile, branches, and staff from the portal, issuing and verifying points, running reward and coupon campaigns, and reviewing transaction and redemption activity. Above all of it, the Super Admin Panel gives the platform team centralized control over store owners, stores, points, rewards, and referrals, along with dashboards and reports on customer and store performance — while payments themselves stay entirely off-platform, settled directly between customer and store.
Three Surfaces, One Loyalty Engine
Customer Mobile App
Discover participating stores, view store details and offers, earn points by scanning a QR or loyalty code, track points balance and transaction history, and redeem coupons and rewards — all without the app ever touching a payment.
Store Owner Portal
Manage stores, branches, and staff accounts, issue or verify customer points via QR or loyalty code, build reward and coupon campaigns, and monitor customer activity and redemption transactions through performance reports.
Super Admin Panel
Centralized management of store owners, stores, branches, customers, points, rewards, coupons, referrals, and platform content, with dashboards, reporting, manual point adjustments, role management, and account activation or suspension.
The Life of a Point
From a purchase at the counter to a redeemed reward — with payment handled entirely by the store, outside the platform.
Customer pays the store directly
The purchase or visit is completed with the store's own existing payment method. Pointfinity is never in the payment path.
Points are issued via QR or loyalty code
Store staff scan the customer's QR or loyalty code in the Store Owner Portal to issue points for that purchase or visit.
Balance updates everywhere at once
The customer's points balance and transaction history update in the mobile app, while the same activity appears in the store's transaction log and the Super Admin Panel's reporting.
Customer redeems a reward
Coupons and rewards are redeemed the same way they were earned — scanned at the store — closing the loop from purchase to reward.
What Made This Non-Trivial
01. One points ledger, three consumers
The customer app, store portal, and admin panel all read and write against the same points and transaction records, so a point issued at the counter is immediately visible everywhere it needs to be — the customer's balance, the store's log, and platform-wide reporting.
02. QR/loyalty-code issuance and redemption
Earning and redeeming both route through the same QR/loyalty-code mechanism, so store staff use one consistent action at checkout whether they're crediting a purchase or fulfilling a reward.
03. Staying out of payments by design
The platform intentionally does not process customer payments. Purchases are settled directly with the store using its existing payment methods, keeping Pointfinity's scope — and its compliance surface — limited to loyalty, not money movement.
04. Multi-tenant admin hierarchy
Store owners manage their own stores, branches, and staff independently, while the Super Admin Panel sits above all of them with platform-wide visibility, manual point adjustments, and account activation or suspension.
